AlJaber Engineering strengthens operations with Caterpillar equipment purchase exceeding QR 50 milli

AlJaber Engineering – a leading Qatari General Contractor and affiliate of the AlJaber Holding- has invested in over QR50 million worth of equipment from Caterpillar, the US-based heavy equipment manufacturer.

AlJaber Engineering already retains the largest fleet of equipment in Qatar, a position that has been further fortified with the additional Caterpillar equipment acquisition. This equipment purchase will provide AlJaber Engineering with an increased capacity to meet the escalating demands of developments and infrastructural improvements that are taking place in Qatar – many driven by the Qatar National Vision 2030 programme and 2022 FIFA World Cup.

The newly acquired equipment will not only boosts AlJaber Engineering’s fleet of equipment in numerical terms, it will also modernise the fleet which will expand the magnitude and complexity of projects. The new equipment comprises of a variety of excavators including the mass excavation plants, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders and other heavy earthmoving equipment.  The Company has ensured continuous investment in equipment, manpower, HSE practices and efficient processes in order to cater to the growing construction requirements.
